Ingredients

  • 2.5 cups oats

  • 1/2 cup Brazil nuts, roughly chopped

  • 1/2 cup pecans, roughly chopped

  • 1/3 cup 'Sesame Kingdom' premium Tahini

  • 1/4 cup 'Sesame kingdom' Silan - premium date syrup

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4 tsp sea salt

  • 1/4 cup dried banana chips (or other dried fruit)

  • 2 tbsp raisins

  • Large handful of halva, to crumble on top (I used 'Sesame kingdom' cinnamon-raisin flavour)

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 170 C and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.

  2. Add all ingredients, except dried banana, raisins and halva, to a large bowl and use a fork to mix together well.

  3. Spread the mixture evenly onto the lined tray and use the back of a wooden spoon to press down tightly. Bake for 20 minutes, then scatter over the banana, raisins and halva.

  4. Allow to cool completely, then store in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.
